Good point.

Look, I can blow $20 so easily... Like on getting the CE to a game I like.

It's not that much money... and I can't wait until all those people ask me "how did you get backup dancers"

Mainly, I'm buying it to support ANet. That aside, I like the extra crap. Furthermore, it's my money and I spend it how I see fit. I'm sure there are plenty of things you spend your money on that I'd consider a waste. To each their own.

And I listen to game music. Daily. VGamp FTW.

If you don't like it then don't buy it. Why come on the Guru forum and complain about it, it's obvious your not getting it anyways.

I want it, but Game Stop doesn't have the CE pre-order in there computer database, even though its on their website. I went ahead and paid for the regular copy in full, and hopefully I can get the CE before launch.

I wana dance!

You may not like what the bonus has, or that there isn't enough, but its good enough for me and I love the game. I have the bling to blow, and I will, take it or leave it thats just how I roll.

sucks, Best Buy where I'm at does not have them. Anyways, got it from Gamestop.com, just got to wait for shiping now.

And its pretty simple, you buy what you feel is right, dont have to complain about CE being a ripoff.

What would you like with the CE? I mean what special item, or whatever do you want to make the price right?

If you only want the game, then just buy the game. how is it hard to understand?

I'm getting CE for the following reasons:

New Artbook, Soundtrack (a real physical one), the DirectSong code which appears to be "special" to Factions CE (if not I would buy it since they fixed DirectSong repeating the same songs in a loop).

Enhanced Dance Emotes is a secondary thing for me, just as divine glow was in C1.

Personally, I don't really need to get the collector's edition. Although, I don't really think it's the biggest waste of money ever. If people really want the special things, then by all means, they can pay a bit extra for it.

The only thing I wouldn't like is if A-net's "exclusive" /dance for Ritualist and Assassin was the only way for them to dance differently than the Ranger. Not that this is a big thing, I just like the different dances of the professions.

Don't really like your tone there, bub.

For me it's worth every penny. I love artbooks, so that alone was reason enough for me. The added Soundtrack is nice too, plus the music key which presumably will get you the to be released MiniPak for free. Rest of the stuff is a nice extra .

Btw, if you don't like it, don't buy it. I like the contents, so I will, and it's a nice show of support to Anet too .

This stuff is all just relative anyway, because everyone values other stuff and so on...

I'd get teh CE if it came with a living breathing sexy Assassin gal...

Then I'd use her to fullfill all my dirty fantasies like...

KILLING THE PEOPLE I HATE! MUAHAHAHAHAHAH

For those who say "Oh thats to expensive... CE for what you get."

I got a show for you. Its called X-Play. Wait for their segment on "Games for CHEAP ba$tards" because thats what you are.

Come on your getting an awsome free no monthly payment game. I know I already pre-ordered the regular edition but I'm also pre-ordering the CE now that its available to be. I could care less about the extra couple dollors. Hook me up Anet!

CKaz, would you have bought the CE for one extra slot? Just curious, because I was surprised Anet didn't do that.

lol, I think you must have read something wrong somewhere... CE only gets 2 extra slots when you link it, as does the regular edition. Both versions (unlinked) also have 4 slots each.

Oh, and for the record, VG music kicks ass. I'd MUCH rather listen to it than people boasting about how much money and hoe's they got.

Kakumei, OCRemix is a great site, alot of talent is there, but no GW remixes yet!

*Edit, I'm also getting the CE for the art book, A.net has amazing artists, and I like to support that.

ok maybe i should have said 'waste of money' instead of 'biggest waste of money ever'

not everyone who waited for CE got screwed out of the preorder box, but i know some people who did miss out.

biggest waste of money ever would be the time i bought a limp bizkit album

I've found the whole slot yo-yo exhausting but I'll answer honestly.
I think I could have shoe-horned into 3, so I probably would have.

Not given me all the options I wanted but avoided a big deletion.
However 2 is still kicking my arse

Yeah I watched that glimmer of hope too.. and watched it die.
Now Gaile suggests they may allow people to buy slots lol...

I'll never argue I easily got my moneys worth GW:P.

I'll additionally never stop arguing that forcing some of us into character binds certainly effects how we'll enjoy that game and what it's worth to us. Particularly when forcing some hard decisions.

Although I think they're getting into milking it territory, I'd support buying extra slots. That's at least been my biggest issue - there was no real good option here. Unlinked bites (IMO), and you couldnt even throw money at linked slots to resolve any walls you ran into.

Yes, it's listed as WoW, but it's actually half that and half GW. Phenomenal track, and I recommend it to everyone.
